Comments: Twenty years ago, who thought I would be a blonde? Mark, Kala, Taylor and I reside at 917 E. Lafayette in Rushville. I am STILL working at Culbertson Hospital where a lot of other classmates work. In the 18 years, I've worked in geriatrics, medical/surgical, obstetrics (11 years with Lynn), long term care, emergency, registration, sometimes housekeeping and last but not least, surgery. So remember "never get sick, pregnant, or old. I may be the one taking care of you, and I love watching E! Stern is the king!
Mark is the meat man at Feigls Food Center (what can I say.) He also heads the YMCA Soccer Program during the summer and assist coaches Tayler's T-ball teams. Other than that he spoils me bad, bad, bad, bad, just ask anyone.
Mark and I have five children between the two of us. Mark has Tyler, age 21, Todd, age 18 who both live in Beardstown. Krista is 20 and attends Quincy University and works for WGEM TV and Radio station. My daughter, Kala Henricks, is 16 and Tayler is 6.
Now I am going to brag. Kala is making a name for the Rushville Track and Field Program. In 1998 she was IESA state champion in discus and runner-up in shot put. With a total of 18 points personally from Kala, the RJHS 7th grade girls brought the 3rd place trophy home with a total of 22 pts. In 1999 she was IESA state champion discus and state champion shot put for her 8th grade year, breaking the school record. In 2000, she brought home 7th place medals at the IHSA state meet, breaking RHS records. Pretty good for a freshman!! In 2001, we go to the IHSA state track meet with Kala bringing home a 6th place in the discus and placing 10th in the shot put, breaking her own school records. (Remember the big pictures that used to hang on the wall of the gym? They aren't there anymore. Those pictures were reduced to about an 8x10 andd hang around the trophy case. Kala now has a picture there.)
Tayler likes playing soccer, T-ball, basketball, wrestling, climbing trees, Nintendo 64, Pokeman and everything else little boys do. Other than that....SOS, Christy
