Comments:      WOW!!  20 YEARS!!  It's hard to know where to start but here I go....
After High School, I attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL for a year.
I roomed with Beth Utter and we had a great time together!  We REALLY got to know each other that year!! After one year at MacMurray, I felt led by the Lord and my parents to look around at some other colleges and I ended up attending Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville for the next 4 years.  It is now called Truman State University.  While at NMSU, I was very active in Campus Crusade for Christ. God really used this organization in my life to help me grow spiritually.  After graduation in May '86, I lived in Vandalia, MO for 6 years.  I taught in Bowling Green School District for 4 years and Van-Far School Distict for 2 years while living there. In 1988, I met Charles at a Christian Singles group and we dated on and off for 4 years.  I got my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading in Aug. of '90.  Charles and I got married on April 18, 1992.  I then moved to Shelbina, MO, where he lived, so we could be together!  He is an agricultural engineer and I teach Reading Recovery/Early Literacy at Shelbina Elementary.  I work with students in grades K-2 in the areas of reading and writing.  We attend and are active at the First Baptist Church in Shelbina. We enjoy traveling and being with our families.  Charles enjoys collecting/restoring cars and I enjoy collecting bears and Precious Moments.  I'm planning to start scrapbooking this summer! I'm excited to see everyone who is able to attend the reunion on June 30th and would love hearing from any of the rest of you!!

Comments: Life has been busy.  Wouldn't trade it for the world.  Graduated from Xray school in '85.  Married my soul mate in '87. Still married 14 years.  Lived in Georgia for 7 years.  Have 3 great kids, Shannon 12,Kyle 8,Matt 7. I work part time.  I'm co-leader of a 4H club, teach 1st grade catechism, and am the new Regent of the Rushville DAR.  Busy with soccer,Tball,band,etc.. Thought about a diet for the reunion but decided I'm too busy to worry about it. We have started into the process of building a new home this fall so lots of decisions.  Forgoing injury or illness see ya'll in June.

Comments: I moved back to Rushville in 1993 and met my best friend, Brad (VIT '79). We married in 1995 and I have 2 daughters, Meagan (18) and Emily (9) from a previous marriage. I've have a Day Care in my home since 1996 so I could be home for my girls and Brad has been at Schuyler Brown FS for 10 years. We purchased a home on Maple Avenue and enjoy spending our time working on it.
Meagan graduated from RHS ('00) with honors. She was in cheerleading, band, chorus, etc. She's in college at Rome, Georgia with a goal to be an attorney. Emily's a 3rd grader who loves tumbling and singing. She is a natural at tumbling and started doing backflips at 5 years old.  We are proud of the girls & enjoy them. We have our children for such a short time then they're gone to start new lives of their own.
I started back to school full time with a major in Elem. Ed. I don't mind being a "non-traditional" student. I'm a 4-H leader and active in the DAR. I like scrapbooking & making homemade xmas gifts. My grandmother is still an important part of my life and the roles have now switched. I'm the only family left in R'ville for her on a daily basis and we enjoy her.
My 20's were hard, my 30's were very happy, and I kind of look forward to our 40's.

Comments: It warms my heart and tickles my funny bone to read the stories in these bios.  Following graduation I attended EIU in Charleston where I received a Master of Science in Zoology (1987).  After two years of cancer research at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC I began my doctoral work in Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Kentucky in Lexington (1989).  There, I met my husband, Kevin Krause.  We were married in June 1994, graduated from UK that fall and moved to Texas to begin Research Fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  We relocated to San Antonio in fall 1996 when Kevin accepted a research position at Brooks Air Force Base allowing me to trade the stress, low pay and long hours of medical research for the stress, low pay, and long hours of attachment parenting!

In November 1996 our son, Matthew, was born followed by Elizabeth (March 1998) and Nicholas (December 1999).  All three kids are talkers and full of energy (they get that from Mom) and incredibly creative and good-looking (they get that from Dad)!  Matthew can recite, in graphic detail, the digestive processes of the gut, Elizabeth keeps us entertained, bringing Beanie Babies and stuffed animals to life and Nicholas, well we're not sure what he's saying but he's doing it with conviction!

In fall 1999 Kevin accepted a position with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and we moved back to the Midwest.  Madison, WI is a beautiful city where families and children come first.  We are grateful to be within driving distance of nearly all family and friends and enjoy frequent visits with my Mom and sister's family.  We also enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities; reading, board games; playing cards and spending time together watching our family grow.  I thank the Lord for his many blessings and for placing the people in my life who've helped guide me to where I am today.  We regret that we will be unable to attend the reunion this summer as we have a previous engagement in Michigan but hope to see some of you as our paths may cross.
